Sam Wassermann var en kort overgangsfigur som formand, da han overtog efter Meyer Rudaizky, der havde stiftet den dynamiske sportsklub. Sam Wassermann var kun formand i et enkelt år, hvor Hakoah havde inviteret Makkabea Bratislava til brydestævne i København. Hakoah vandt 5-2 og i 1935 tog Herman Leiserowitz til Maccabiade og vandt guld. Abraham Kurland blev nummer to ved Europamesterskaberne
