1935-1937 Marcus Schwartzmann

Marcus Schwartzmann var Hakoahs tredje formand. Schwartzmann kom ind i et offentlig uvejr, da der i 1936 skulle være Olympiske Lege i Berlin. Det tyske regime havde lovet at der ikke ville blive lagt hindringer i vejen for jødiske idrætsmænd. Marcus Schwartzmann blev interviewet i Arbejderbladet og svarede at selvfølgelig ville de jødiske brydere fra Hakoah deltage, da man var en upolitisk klub og ikke ønskede at drive politik. Dette var man ikke helt enige i hos resten af Hakoahs bestyrelse, mens også Mosaisk Trossamfund var af en anden opfattelse. Generalforsamlingen genvalgte Schwartzmann som formand i 1936, men man besluttede at boykotte legene i Berlin. Abraham Kurland afstod dermed fra at deltage på trods af at han var udtaget
