1935 – BRITISK MANDAT PALÆSTINA

På billedet ses en kamp fra 1935 mellem Hakoah og vores navnebror Hakoah Berlin. Kampen blev spillet i København, samme år som den anden Verdensmaccabiade.

Den anden Verdensmaccabiade blev afholdt i 1935, hvor mere end 1.300 atleter deltog fra 28 lande. Herman Leiserowitz er eneste danske deltager, men han fortsætter med at vinde guldmedaljer til Danmark, da han ene mand vender hjem med tre af slagsen. Guldet blev hentet i både græsk-romersk brydning, fri-brydning og udspring.
