1977 – ISRAEL

De danske medaljevindere fra Maccabiaden i 1977, Anne og Anette. Begge piger vandt sølvmedaljer i Badminton.

Den 10. Verdensmaccabiade i Israel i 1977 var den største sportsbegivenhed nogensinde i hele Mellemøsten. 2.700 deltagere fra 34 lande konkurrerede i 27 forskellige discipliner. Danmark stillede med 30 atleter. Et håndboldhold, et bordtennishold samt fire badmintonspillere. Det blev badmintonpigerne som stod for de glædelige overraskelser. Anne Marie Kaufmann fik søvmedalje i single, og sammen med Anette Reuveni( født Elkan ) fik hun sølvmedalje i damedouble.
